My dream started three-years-ago when I saved money to cross the Mexican border. Swimming was the hardest part of getting across the border. Then one day some white boy threw me a life jacket and told me he would give me a job if I mowed his lawn once a week. I will never forget what he yelled to me from the helicopter, “Sink or swim little buddy!”

Seriously though...

I started tattooing in 1995 from my homeland in Mexico City. After two-years (1997) I moved to Playa del Carmen, Mexico where I had the opportunity to open my own shop named Screamink, which is still successfully owned by me. While working there I had met well-recognized tattoo artists who helped guide me with my skills.

Luckily I’ve had the opportunity to do more custom work and continue learning from the various artists in the states. Over the past four-years, I have concentrated on what I enjoy most, traditional American and Japanese styles.

I have now been living and tattooing in Austin Texas since 2002, and am waiting for the chance to give you a great trademark of mine that you deserve.
